The Art In Your Eye Festival seeks award-winning artists
for its fourth annual fi ne art show & festival at the beautiful Riverwalk on the Fox River in Downtown Batavia. This festival is sponsored by the City of Batavia and is a
collaborative project of key organizations in Batavia.

Art In Your Eye is the spirit of Batavia’s artistic and artsupporting community and extends beyond the two-day festival. It includes pre-festival events featuring a School of Art, free art-related programs at Batavia Public Library, a Friday Night Arts Walk at downtown businesses August 1st, and the Art In Your Ear Amateur Songwriting Contest. The focus is on art experiences, art education, hands-on art experiences, and arts appreciation.

The culminating festival at the Riverwalk features the outdoor fi ne art show, along with exceptional children’s art activities, continuous musical entertainment, the “Sculpture Adventure”, an indoor show featuring local artists, an art exhibit at the historic Depot Museum, and food.

Patrons really appreciate the free guarded bicycle parking that encourages attendance by the hundreds of cyclists traveling the miles of Fox River trails passing by the Riverwalk.

Tremendous community and volunteer support and
amenities make this show highly regarded by artist
participants.

Each artist in the outdoor fi ne art show is featured
on the Website, with an image of his or her work,
for several months prior to and following the show.
Art In Your Eye is marketed in a variety of ways. Postcards
will be made available for your mailing list and we ask
that you provide the top five customer zip codes on the application so that we can work on marketing these areas.

Booth Space
Each exhibitor will be provided a space measuring approximately 11’ by 11’. Artists are to provide their own display booth, racks and/or tables in order to display their work in an outdoor environment. No electricity will be available. No gas or oil generators will be permitted. Appropriate weighting systems for the tents must be used. All areas are exposed to the sun.

Sales
Artists retain all revenue from the sale of their work with no commission on sales due to the Art In Your Eye Fine Art Show. Artists are responsible for Illinois Sales (Batavia
